our process

our design + build process

We choose to take on a limited number of pools per year, so we can maintain quality control through our talented in-house team.

  • Connect with us and let us know your design and construction desires. After a short conversation, we can direct you in one of two ways. Option one is to provide you with a quick and general estimate from our custom “Sunfish Catalog.” This is a collection of pre-designed pools which can be integrated into your space. In search of something more original or specific? Need to include an outdoor space or landscape with the plan? The second option is to create a custom design specifically tailored to your property. If custom design is the necessary route, we determine an estimated work scope for your design needs.

  • A preliminary agreement is then delivered for design work, along with an invoice for the deposit. Both are delivered via email and can be signed electronically. Please remember that this design fee is credited back to your project during the construction phase. Upon receipt of the of signed agreement and deposit, your project is placed into our schedule.

  • We usually prefer an on-site consultation at this point. However, if that is not an option, we can easily meet via phone and pull GIS imagery. We will gather measurements, take initial photos, and request property surveys and home plans. The regular timeframe for delivery is 2-4 weeks; however, we work on a first-come, first-serve basis & time frame is dependent on the number of committed clients we have on the books.

  • Your designer will go to work! You will be presented with a 3D rendering of your project, including day and night photos, along with an aerial video. Designs come with one round of revisions, and further revisions can continue to be made at an hourly rate.

  • Love your design and ready to move forward? Your designer will then create a set of construction plans from your final approved layout. Jake will bid on your project and then send you a detailed estimate and contract via e-mail. Upon return receipt of the signed contract, construction can begin!

  • We can’t wait to get started!
